Shamrock 555 – The Stephen Luigi Piazza Foundation exists to honor the life, values, and vision of our founder, the late Stephen L. Piazza — known to most simply as “Luigi.”

For those newer to the Rock/Quicken Loans family, Luigi’s story began with Rock Financial in 1995. Over his decades-long career, he was a driving force — not just through his professional accomplishments, but through the way he lifted others up. He believed deeply in mentorship, always seeing and bringing out the best in people. He was also a quiet yet constant source of generosity, stepping in to help whenever and however it was needed.

After a courageous two-year battle with cancer, Stephen passed on February 26, 2018. But before his passing, he set in motion the creation of Shamrock 555 — a lasting way to channel his passion for giving. Guided by his vision, the board proudly works to carry forward his philanthropic mission: seeking out worthy organizations and providing funding that directly supports children in their educational journeys and social well-being.

Founded in 2018, Shamrock 555, The Stephen Luigi Piazza Foundation has been working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of children. By the close of 2025, we will exceed $800,000 in donations, fueling programs and initiatives that create lasting impact.
